Hi all, my horse had lymphangitis ever since I got him 9 years ago due to a scar on his back leg. I managed it so far with bandaging but since February this year the skin on the leg gets very infected, there is scabs and flakey bits and fluid comes out of the leg and wounds are just opening up. He has been treated 6 times with different antibiotics ,steroids,bute ,mud fever cream etc. Every time he is treated the leg goes down and the infection on the leg clears and the wound heals. A few days after the treatment has ended it always comes back. Tried horse probiotics as well. At this stage I don't know what to do anymore. Attached a few pics here.any advice would be appreciated.
